La Quincaillerie is a beautiful brasserie located in a historic building on Rue du Page in the heart of Brussels. The building was once a hardware store and was designed by a student of the famous Belgian architect Victor Horta. La Quincaillerie is known for its generous seafood platters and stunning art nouveau interior.

Lucky you! We are looking for a Sous-Chef!

 

Job description:

(Responsibilities and tasks will be adjusted to your knowledge and skills)

- As the Chef's right hand, you are co-responsible for the functioning and organization of the kitchen

- You supervise the kitchen team together with the Chef and establish work schedules

- You create dishes and contribute to the menu, considering the seasonal offer, our philosophy on sustainability and food cost

- You ensure a smooth flow of mise-en-place and service

- You monitor safety and cleanliness in the kitchen

 

Profile:

- You have experience in a responsible position in the hospitality industry (Chef de Partie, Sous-chef,...)

- You are stress-resistant and have strong organizational skills

- You are a fan of gastronomy and have a passion for hospitality

- You are a teamplayer

- Language skills: You can express yourself fluently in French

- A full-time contract (preferably), part-time is negotiable

- Lunch and dinner service with service coupé

- Free on two days a week
